Voting is so important, and in 2013, it’s become a favorable trend to pay close attention to the elections. If you registered in the State of Pennsylvania, be sure to check the Office of the Philadelphia City Commissioners website to guarantee you’ll be able to vote during this upcoming election. On November 5, 2013, voters can cast their General Election ballots for the following 2013 Candidates.

Also, Voter ID is not required to vote on November 5, 2013, unless it is your first time voting in your current division.

This is a vital election! Be sure you double check your district and please pass this info along to your family and friends. All you have to do to find your polling place is use the VoterApp, and type in the address at which you are registered to vote in the search box. The VoterApp will allow you to locate your polling place and give you directions on how to get there.

Below are several important dates for the upcoming 2013 election:

10/29/2013 – Last day to apply for a civilian absentee ballot

10/30/2013 –  Meeting of the City Commissioners 

11/1/2013 –  Last day for City Commissioners to receive voted civilian absentee ballots 

11/5/2013 –  Election Day 

11/6/2013 –  First day to REGISTER after November election 

11/6/2013 –   Meeting of the City Commissioners 

11/8/2013 –   Official election count 

11/12/2013 –  Last day for City Commissioners to receive voted military and overseas absentee ballots
